Bonus Tips

  • If you want tiny hearts use a small hook and fine yarn. Consider fewer stitches if necessary.
  • Pull up your magic ring carefully so that you don’t twist your heart
  • For a taller heart add a few stitches onto the sides of your heart

Ideas for your Small Crochet Hearts

  • Whip up a batch of these cuties and pass them out to friends, family, or even that barista who always remembers your latte order. They’re guaranteed to melt hearts (and maybe even faces, with all that yarn-induced warmth). Who wouldn’t want a crocheted heart?
  • String these cute hearts onto some twine or leftover yarn for a sweet garland or scatter them around your home like confetti (but way cuter).
  • Stitch them onto a cozy blanket or sweater to decorate it
  • Spruce up your gifts by tucking a little handmade heart into a wrapped box or popping one on a gift bag for an extra dose of charm.
  • Attach one (or a few) to a Valentine’s card for that special someone.
  • Consider getting involved in ‘Random Acts of Crochet Kindness’. It is a Facebook group dedicated to gifting small crochet items to the world.
