At Christine’s Crafts, every tutorial, pattern and gardening tip comes from real hands-on crafting. I believe you deserve to know exactly how the content you’re reading is made — so here’s an honest explanation of how artificial intelligence (AI) tools fit into my process.
What stays 100% human
- The crafts and projects themselves. Every tutorial is created, made and tested by me unless it is a guest post.
- The gardening advice. Based on my own growing experience, not generated from a prompt.
- Final editorial control. I read, review and approve every word published here. Nothing goes live unmedited or unchecked.
- Patterns and printables sold in the shop. These are designed and tested by me before they reach you.
Where I use AI tools
I use AI as an assistant — never as a replacement for my own experience. Specifically, AI tools may be used to:
- Research keywords and topics, helping me understand what crafters and gardeners are searching for so I can write genuinely useful content.
- Edit and proofread my writing — checking spelling, grammar, clarity and structure. The ideas, instructions and opinions are always mine.
- Draft supporting text such as headings, summaries, meta descriptions, social posts and email subject lines, which I then review and rewrite in my own voice.
- Generate or enhance some images and graphics, including decorative illustrations, backgrounds and design elements. Photographs of finished projects, step-by-step process shots and anything showing a real craft result are my own original photography or occasionally stock photos unless clearly stated otherwise.
- Organise and format content, such as building tables, lists and printable layouts.
Accuracy and your own judgement
I take care to check everything published here, but no content — human or AI-assisted — is guaranteed to be error-free or suitable for every situation. Craft and gardening projects involve tools, materials and conditions that vary from person to person.
Please use your own judgement, follow safety guidance for any tools or materials you use, supervise children appropriately, and check plant care advice against your own climate and growing conditions. Content on this site is provided for general information and inspiration only, and is offered “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Your data
I do not enter your personal information — including your name, email address or any details you share through comments, contact forms or purchases — into public AI tools. Please see my Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.
