Mixed Media Card 7 – Pretty Book Pages

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases

This is the seventh part in a 30 part series showing you different mixed media cards that I have made. These will all include video tutorials and I am hoping that you will get some great ideas and make your own mixed media cards for all occasions.

The intention is that you can make your cards using the craft supplies that you already have at home. Take my ideas and adapt them to what you have right now. So, let’s get started.

This page contains affiliate links meaning I earn a little commission if you use those links at no cost to you. I only recommend brands I use and trust.

You will need:

Simple Instructions

  • Select & cut out pieces of old book page. Perhaps select something suitable for the particular person the card is for. I love old encyclopedias and gardening books for words and images!
  • Place your pieces onto your card and play around with them until you are happy with your design.
  • Using a brush, apply glue to the front of the card and then apply each piece of book page or music wherever you like. Cover the pages with glue to seal them down.
  • Let the card dry and then, if necessary flatten it under a heavy book.
  • I have then embellished mine with stenciled flowers. You could draw freehand or glue more items on.
  • Add any further embellishments like a greeting from my free printable greetings.
  • You are finished!
