This is the thirteenth part in a 30 part series showing you different mixed media cards that I have made. These will all include video tutorials and I am hoping that you will get some great ideas and make your own mixed media cards for all occasions. This is a scrap fabric card designed to use up all those bits you keep ‘just in case’.
The intention is that you can make your cards using the craft supplies that you already have at home. Take my ideas and adapt them to what you have right now.

You will need:
- Card or Card Blank
- Fabric Scraps
- PVA Glue (such as decoupage glue)
- Printable Greeting (free below)
- Foam pads (optional)
Simple Instructions for the Scrap Fabric Card
- Dig out your fabric scraps and choose some that you want to use.
- Cut them up into small pieces ready to form your collage.
- Use a PVA glue such as decoupage glue to stick your fabric pieces down. Put a layer of glue onto the card front and then place your piece of fabric on that. Cover the fabric piece with more glue.
- Repeat until you have covered the whole front. Overlapping is great for added texture!
- Let it dry.
- Then, simply add a greeting of your choice. I used foam pads to attach it to the centre to add some depth.
